🪄BleMidi FootSwitch support starts now

This is the first step in a bigger plan to support more external devices – and we’re kicking it off with the M-Vave Chocolate.

If you’ve got one of these handy (footy?) little pedals, you can now use it to control Muser Studio without touching the screen. That means more flow, less fiddling, and smoother takes.

Here’s how the Chocolate buttons work right now:

• Button A (single tap): Start and Stop recording

• Button A (double tap): Start a New Project or reset the current one

• Button B (single tap): Mark the beginning and end of a loop

It works just like the desktop keyboard and PageTurner setup — except now you’ve got a compact pedal on the floor.

And yes, there are four buttons on that thing. So yes, we’ve got plans. 😉 More control options coming soon.

⚙️ How to set-up M-Vave Chocolate as a Video Looper

Pairing the Chocolate to your iPhone or iPad is pretty straightforward.  Here’s the step-by-step:

1. Power on the M-Vave Chocolate. You should see the blue Bluetooth LED flashing.

2. On your iPhone/iPad, go to Settings > Bluetooth. Look for a device named something like "FootCtrl", tap it, then tap Pair.

   • ✅ That blue LED should stop flashing and stay steadily illuminated.

3. Download the CubeSuite app from the App Store (this is M-Vave’s configuration tool).

4. Open CubeSuite, scan for nearby devices, and select "FootCtrl".

5. Scroll through the modes until you find Manufacturer Mode.

   • ✅ You’ll know it worked if the display shows Cu in the centre.

6. In Muser Studio, tap the Settings tab (gear icon, 3rd from the left at the bottom).

7. Scroll down to Ble-MIDI Controllers and select the M-Vave Chocolate.

🎉 Boom — you’re set.
