Your First Loop with Muser Studio

A quick guide to recording, looping, and sharing your creativity


Welcome to Muser Studio — the video looper built for artists, musicians, and creators of all kinds. Whether you're here to experiment, express, or just have fun with your ideas, you're in the right place.


In a few taps, you’ll go from recording a moment to watching it loop back in a polished, shareable video — all from your iPhone.

Making live loop videos with Muser Studio

 

🎧 1. Headphones on!

Pop in your AirPods (or any headphones).This lets you hear your loops play back live, without audio bleed.


 

🔴 2. Tap the Red Circle to Start Recording

Ready to record
Press to Record

This starts capturing your video and audio in real time.The red circle will turn into a red square while recording is active.

 

🔁 3. Tap a Loop Button to Begin a Loop

Choose any button from the 8×2 grid of loop buttons.


The first tap marks the start of your loop — a red ring appears to show it's being defined.

*For the best results, the tap to mark the Start should happen on Beat 1 of your rhythm.

 

🔁 4. Tap the Same Button Again to End the Loop

That second tap locks in your loop. You’ll hear it start playing back instantly — while you keep recording, ready to build the next layer.

*For the best results, the tap to mark the End should also happen on Beat 1 of your rhythm. Think of it as marking the moment you want Loop to play back from it's Start.

 

 5. Add More Loops to Layer Your Performance

Repeat the process with other buttons to add harmonies, rhythms, textures — whatever you like. Loops can be short or long, simple or complex. You make the rules. Each new loop stacks in sync — giving you the freedom to play expressively, even if your tap timing is a little early or late.

⏹️ 6. Tap the Red Square to Finish Your Session

Video is still recording.  Pressing this will end the recording and trigger automatic edit and rendering.
Press to Stop Recording

Done looping? Tap the red square.Muser Studio will immediately begin editing and rendering your final video.

The red square becomes a spinning blue triangle during rendering.


Spinning blue triangle means it's rendering.  The white arc tells you it's progress.

▶️ 7. Preview Your Performance

Render complete and ready for you to preview!
Press to Preview Edit

When rendering completes, the triangle turns green — your play button.Tap it to watch the final video with your loops woven together, like a mini behind-the-scenes performance.


Well done! You can now make looping videos in Muser Studio.

 

📤 8. Save or Share Your Creation

Navigate to the Share page with this icon.
Share Page

Tap the Share Page icon (it's on the bottom right of the app) to:

  • Save the video to your device

  • Share directly to TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, or anywhere you like

🆕 9. Start a New Loop

Start a New Project.  You'll need to do this if you've already completed a recording and wish to start a new one.

(We call it the “transport controller” internally, but we know that name's all business.)
