Bug fixes:
Further stability improvements during suspend and resume.

â±ïž What's an adaptive click track metronome?
Some days you want to set a beats-per-minute and play to it. Other days you start with a riff and find the tempo by feel. Muser Studio now supports both. The metronome adapts to how you like to build loops and stays out of your way once you are rolling.
đ Two ways to stay in time

Click on the metronome to arm it. Metronome only sounds if a video recording session is in progress.

When the metronome is armed, sound wave symbols will appear on either side. It's still orange because it doesn't yet know what bpm to play to.
1. Set a BPM: pick a tempo and play along. New loop points line up with the beat so stacks feel tight.

Enter a number value for your beats per minute here. It will turn blue meaning if a recording is in progress you should be hearing it.
or...
Let your first loop lead: record your first loop and the app finds a sensible tempo and bar count from it. If the metronome is armed you'll hear the click as soon as it's ready.
Also, just like always, new loop points are rounded to that timing of the first loop, which now coincides with the metronome!
đ§ Bluetooth clicks that actually help
If you use Bluetooth headphones, clicks are adjusted to compensate for the infamous BlueTooth lag so what you hear lines up to avoid you getting thrown off.
Note, however audio pass through, aka live monitoring (the button above the metronome) will reveal the full roundtrip latency in that sounds you make will be played back to you with a delay. With BlueTooth that can up to 20% of a second, which sadly can't be compensated for. But if you have an acoustic instrument or you're singing, and can do without live monitoring, you're golden!
A quick word on stability
How the app resumes the camera and audio after being in the background has been improved. If anything ever feels off, tell me. I am watching this area closely, looking at how to improve things further.
đ Keep learning
Keep an eye on the Quick Tips series. More are coming soon including walk-throughs on looping with the Adaptive Click Track Metronome.
Thanks as always for using and supporting Muser Studio. âïž
